Orange Lemonade

2-1/2 C. water
1-3/4 C. sugar
1-1/2 C. fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons)
1-1/2 C. fresh orange juice (about 5 oranges)
2 T. grated lemon peel
2 T. grated orange peel.

In a medium saucepan combine water and sugar.
Cook over med. heat stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves. Cool.
Add juices and peel to cooled sugar syrup.
Cover, let stand at room temp. for 1 hour.
Strain syrup, cover and refrigerate.
To serve, fill glasses or pitcher with equal amounts of fruit syrup and water.
Add ice and serve.
