    1 Tablespoon sugar syrup
    Juice of medium-sized lemon
    2 jiggers gin
    Carbonated water

    Combine in a 14- or 16-ounce glass with 4 ice cubes sugar syrup and gin. Fill glass with carbonated water. Stir and serve immediately.
