    Ed Radzvilla's Famous Oatmeal Rolls

    2 cups oatmeal
    1 quart boiling water
    1/4 pound margarine (1 stick)
    1-1/3 cups brown sugar
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 tablespoon salt
    2 packages dry yeast
    3/4 cup warm water (to soften yeast)
    10 cups unbleached flour

    Combine oatmeal, 1 quart water and margarine. Let cool until lukewarm. Add sugars, salt and softened yeast. Stir in as much of the flour as you can; then knead in the rest. Let rise until double. Form into rolls (makes 50.) Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
