    Grandma Bogey Mushroom Bread

    1 can Campbells Cream of Mushroom soup plus 1 can water
    3 T. butter or margarine
    2 packages yeast (I use RedStar instant) (3 Tblsp)
    7 to 8 cups flour
    1 Tblsp. of minced onion do not use fresh onion, the kind in spice bottles is fine
    3 Tblsp sugar
    1 Tblsp salt

    Method

    Mix 2 flour with warm soup margarine does no need to melt. mix with electric mixer med speed for two minutes. add yeast,sugar,and salt, and mix again.

    Add flour to make a very firm dough.Turn out on floured board and knead for about 5 min. Put in large greased bown, turn over to grease top and let stand till couble in bulk.

    Punch down dough shapt into about three rounds, put on greased sheet pan and bake in 400 degree oven for ten to twelve min. the lower heat to 375 degrees and bake fifteen to twenty min. longer, when bread sounds hollow when thumped, it is done.

    Cool completely on wire racks before any cutting. This is an extremely tasty bread and is good with about any kind of food or soup.
