    1 cup yellow corn meal
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup milk
    1/4 cup honey
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    In large bowl, combine corn meal, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In small bowl, whisk together milk, honey, egg and oil. Add to flour mixture; stir until just combined. Pour batter into a well-greased 8-by-8-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Serve warm. Makes 9 servings.
