    30 oz. peaches, canned
    5 cups flour
    2 Tbsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp nutmeg or 1 tsp apple pie spice
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

    Drain & dice peaches, reserve 1 1/4 cup liquid, set aside
    Sift dry ingredients
    Cream, sugar & eggs.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with reserved peach liquid. Stir until batter is well blended
    Stir nuts & peaches into batter
    Pour batter in greased jars, 1/2 full
    Bake @ 350° 1 hour or until loaves test done
