1 long loaf of unsliced French or sourdough bread
1 pound or 2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup (or more) mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped or dry parsley
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoon finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 teaspoon salt

Recipe



Slice the long loaf into thick slices (about 14) on the bias, cutting through just to the bottom crust. Mix together all filling ingredients; mix well. Spread thickly between bread slices. Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and place in preheated (400-degree) oven for 25 minutes, or until piping hot and crusty.
