    1 package yeast
    1/2 cup warm water
    1 cup (1/2lb.) crream-style cottage cheese
    2 T. sugar
    1 T. instant minced onion
    2 tsp. dill weed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    1 T. butter
    2 1/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour

    Recipe



    Soften yeast in 1/2 cup warm water in large bowl.
    Heat cottage cheese until lukewarm. Place in
    blender and blend. Stir into yeast mixture. Add
    sugar, onion, dill weed, salt, soda, egg, butter and
    1 1/3 cups flour. Beat by hand for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Stir in remaining flour and knead for 2 minutes.
    Use small dab of shortening on hands to knead.
    Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rise until double.
    Stir dough down. Spoon evenly into muffin pans. Let
    rise 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees on second oven
    rack for 13 minutes.
