    Serves 4

    4 fresh grapefruits
    2 tbsp. (four 1/2 tablespoon pats) butter
    1/4 cup sugar & cinnamon (3 to 1 ratio) mixture


    Cut tops and bottoms off grapefruits, core out the fruit and remove from skin. Replace the bottom from inside empty skin sealing bottom hole. Segment the fruit, discarding the membrane, and replace into the skin. Place a pat of butter in the middle and sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon. Refrigerate overnight. Let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour before placing in a 300 degree oven. Bake for approximately 20 minutes (until mixture is melted). Serve with a maraschino cherry or sprig of mint.
