    1-1/2 Cups sugar
    1/2 Cup butter
    2 eggs
    2 Cups flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1-1/2 Cups applesauce
    6-oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs
    Add dry ingredients alternately with applesauce. Fold in chips
    Pour in greased 9x13" pan
    Bake 350º 35-40 minutes
    Dust with powdered sugar or frost with buttercream frosting
