    CAKE:

    4 eggs
    2 cups sugar
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1/4 cup butter

    FROSTING:

    1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
    3/4 cups butter
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    2 cups flaked coconut

    Recipe



    In mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick, about 4 minutes.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture and beat just until combined.
    In a saucepan, bring milk and butter to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Add to batter and beat until combined.
    Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan.
    Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Combine frosting ingredients; spread over warm cake.
    Broil until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes (watch carefully, can over brown and burn in a instant)
    Cool completely
