    1 1/4 cups sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup margarine
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 cups sifted cake flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 cup milk
    4 cups thinly sliced apples
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    3 tbls firm butter

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, softened cream cheese and margarine, mixing until well blended.
    Blend in eggs and vanilla.

    Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon and add to
    cream cheese mixture alternately with the milk, mixing well after each
    addition. Stir in sliced apples.

    Pour into 9-inch springform pan and bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes.

    For topping, mix together brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter until
    crumbly. Add topping to cake and continue baking for 15 more minutes or until
    a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
