    Cake:

    1 Pkg. Duncan Hines Orange Supreme Cake Mix
    1 Pkg. (4 serving size) orange flavored gelatin
    3/4 C. boiling water
    1/2 C. cold water

    Topping:

    1 8-oz. can mandarin orange segments, drained
    1 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding mix
    2/3 C. water
    additional mandarin orange segments, for garnish

    Recipe



    For cake; prepare & bake in a 13 x 9 x 2 pan, following package directions. Cool 25 minutes.

    Dissolve gelatin in 3/4 C. boiling water. Stir in 1/2 C. cold water. Set aside at room temperature. Stir occasionally.

    Poke holes in top of warm cake with skewer or long-tined fork. Pour gelatin mixture slowly over cake. Refrigerate.

    For topping; combine mandarin oranges, whipped topping, pudding mix, & 2/3 C. water in large bowl. Stir until ingredients are well blended, crushing oranges slightly.

    Spread topping over cake, after gelatin mixture has been put on & cake has been refrigerated. Garnish with additional orange segments.

    Refrigerate until ready to serve.


    Yield: 16 to 20 servings
