    1 pkg. Vanilla pudding

    2 cups milk

    1 stick of butter

    whipping cream

    12 Lady Fingers

    3 tbsp rum

    1/2 cup chopped pecans

    sliced strawberries

    Recipe



    Slowly add milk to pudding in pan. Stir while bringing to a full boil. Add butter and stir until melted and blended. Cover with plastic wrap and chill. Line a 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 5/8 inch loaf pan with waxed paper. Cover bottom with split lady fingers. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp. rum. Fold nuts into pudding. Place 1/2 of pudding mixture over the lady fingers in the pan. Cover with another layer of split lady fingers, another sprinkle of rum, then another layer of the pudding mixture. Finish with a final layer of lady fingers and rum. Refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, unmold and top with whipped cream and berries. Makes 8 slices.
