1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 cup applesauce
3 eggs
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon cloves
¼ teaspoon salt

Beat 1 egg and 2 yolks and add to the above ingredients. Bake in a one crust pie shell until firm. Use the other two egg whites for meringue topping. (This is one of the oldtimer recipes, therefore no time and temperature is given.)
