    Apple-Kraut & Bratwurst Skillet

    1 lb bratwurst
    2 tsp veg oil
    1 med onion, thinly sliced
    1 med apple, cored & cut in wedges
    1 can sauerkraut (about 2 cups), drained
    1/4 C apple juice

    Recipe



    Cook bratwurst in oil over med-low heat in lg. non-stick skillet 10 minutes until browned
    Remove from skillet & reserve
    Add onions & apple wedges
    Cook & stir over medium heat 5 minutes or until lightly browned
    Stir in sauerkraut, apple juice & pepper
    Return bratwurst to skillet, bring to boil then reduce heat & simmer for 20 min. or until bratwurst is thoroughly cooked
