    1 pre-baked 9 in. pie shell
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 T. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. rosemary
    1/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese
    1 pound fresh asparagus
    1/2 C. thick cream
    4 eggs, separated
    1-3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, soft
    parsley

    Recipe



    Saute' onion in butter. Add asparagus, rosemary and salt. Cook over medium heat for several minutes, stirring. In a large mixing bowl blend cream cheese, cheddar, egg yolks and cream. Stir in asparagus mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Sprinkle fresh parsley sprigs in mixture. Pour into pie shell and bake in 375 oven approx. 25 minutes.
