    Cheeseburger Magic

    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups dry macaroni
    1 cup instant powdered milk
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper

Combine all of the dry ingredients in a plastic zip lock bag, or a resealable container, or even a brown paper lunch bag for that matter. The point is to get all of the ingredients together in a container so it can sit on the pantry shelf. I usually mix up 5 of these at a time, for convenience sake.

    To Cook:
    1 pound ground beef
    5 cups water
    1 package Cheeseburger Magic (above)
1 cup shredded cheese, OR 4 ounces cubed Velveeta-type cheese

Get out a very large skillet. Fry the hamburger in it, breaking it up into small pieces with a fork. When it is cooked all the way through, drain off all the fat. Add the water to the skillet and bring it to a boil Stir in the contents of the Hamburger Magic package. Reduce the heat to medium. The mixture should simmer gently. You can put a lid on it if you like, but stir it rather often, because it has a tendency to stick. Cook the mixture for about 20 minutes, or until the macaroni is done to your taste. Stir in the cheese. Cook and stir until the cheese is completely melted. Serve to your hungry family and bless the inventor or store bought pasta, it is a wonderful time saver to the cook.
