    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1, 16-oz. pkg. taco seasoning
    1/2 C. water
    1, 12-oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 C. chopped green pepper
    1 C. tomato sauce
    1, 8-oz. pkg. Jiffy corn muffin mix
    1, 8-oz. can French fried onions
    1 1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese

    In a skillet, brown meat. Stir in taco seasoning, water, corn, green pepper
    and tomato sauce. Pour into 2-qt. casserole. In a different bowl, prepare corn
    muffin mix according to directions, except add one-half can French fried
    onions. Spoon corn muffin mixture around outer edge of casserole. Bake 20
    minutes at 400 degrees uncovered. Top cornbread with cheese and remaining
    onions. Bake 2-3 minutes longer.
