1 pound frankfurters
1 env. or 3 oz pkg. instant mashed potato
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon mustard
2 to 3 drops Tabasco sauce
.1 teaspoon chopped chives
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Recipe



Slice 2/3 of the hot dogs into thirds crosswise. Chop remaining hot dogs.

Prepare potatoes as directed on package (or use homemade). Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Tabasco, chives, 3/4 cup cheese and chopped hot dogs.

Spread a small amount of mixture in bottom of an 8" pie plate, then stand pieces of hot dogs upright around the edge. Fill the center with remaining potato mixture.

Place in 375° oven for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese 2-3 minutes before end of heating time.
