    Nonstick cooking spray
    12 ounces dried linguine
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 large onion, quartered and thinly sliced (1 cup)
    1 medium red or green sweet pepper, thinly sliced into strips
    5 ounces sliced Canadian-style bacon, cut into thin strips
    1 tablespoon bottled minced garlic
    1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking oil
    2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil
    1-1/2 teaspoons snipped fresh oregano
    1 26- to 29-ounce jar marinara sauce
    4 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (1 ounce)

    Lightly coat a 3-quart rectangular baking dish with cooking spray. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook mushrooms, onion, sweet pepper, Canadian bacon, and garlic in hot oil for 3 minutes. Add basil and oregano.

    Drain pasta and return it to saucepan. Add marinara sauce to toss to coat. Spread pasta evenly into prepared baking dish. Top with vegetable mixture.

    Cover with foil.

    Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes. Uncover; top with pepperoni and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, about 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted and pepperoni is hot. Makes 8 servings.
