John Mosetta Casserole

Johnny Marzetti is a baked dish of ground meat, tomato and macaroni created at the Marzetti Restaurant in Columbus in the 1920s. It is named after the restaurant owner's brother, John.
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds pork sausage
4 large diced onions
12 ounces cooked egg noodles
1 clove garlic -- minced
2 8 ounce cans tomato puree
1/2 pound sharp cheddar -- cut in 1" pieces
Recipe
Brown sausage. Add 4 to 6 onions; cook until tender. Add cooked egg noodles, garlic, tomato puree, and 1/2 to 1 pound of cheese. Mix and put into casserole or baking pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour until bubbly.
