    Layered Kielbasa Casserole

    1 large cabbage
    1 package turkey kielbasa, sliced thin
    1/2 a purple onion, thinly sliced
    1 cup cottage cheese
    1 cup Ricotta cheese
    1 cup shredded cheddar
    2 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    Salt & white pepper

    Core cabbage, and boil in pot of salted water until cabbage is beginning to get soft, approximately 6-8 minutes. Pour into strainer in your sink and drain until ready to layer the casserole.

    Brown the kielbasa and onions together. Drain grease, if any.

    Mix cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, eggs and seasonings in a bowl.

    Place a layer of meat mixture in bottom of a 9x13pan. Place a layer of cabbage leaves over the meat. Place a layer of cottage cheese mixture on cabbage. Continue this process until you are out of ingredients. Top with shredded cheese.
