    Northwest Sausage and Potato Casserole

    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg smoked sausage or polish kielbasa
    1 32oz pkg frozen hashbrowns
    2c. sour cream
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 c green onions
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c.grated cheese
    1/4 t.pepper
    1/4 t. garlic powder

    Recipe



    Slice sausage into 1/4" pieces. Mix soup, sour cream, onions, milk and spices.
    Place in greased 9X13 pan 1/2 pkg hash browns. Place sausage on top of hashbrowns
    and pour half of soup mixture over sausage. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese. Top with rest of potatoes, remaining soup mixture and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cover with foil for the first 30 minutes then remove foil.
    Serves 10-12.

    *** Picky 10 year old loves this dinner****

    Notes: Any kind of precooked sausage would be good, we tried 2 kinds.
    Also you could probably substitute the cream of celery soup for whatever you have
    handy. Piping hot out of the oven this has such a great texture.
