8 whole vidalia onions, cut in chunks
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
1 cup water, salted and boiling
1 cup Swiss cheese, grated
2/3 cup
2/3 cup half and half
Recipe
Saute onions in butter until transparent but not brown. Add rice to salted water and cook for 5 minutes on low heat, covered. Place rice, onions and cheese in a 2 quart baking dish. combine well and stir in half and half. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees
