1/2 lb Bacon, diced
1/2 c Onion, chopped
4 ts Worcestershire
1 c Dark Karo syrup
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Paprika
1/3 c Lemon juice
1/2 c Water
1 1/2 c Chili sauce
1 lb Hotdogs, sliced bitesize
1 tb Corn starch
2 tb Water
1 1/2 c Elbow macaroni, cooked


Recipe



Combine bacon and onion in skillet and fry until bacon is crisp and onion is soft; drain excess fat. Stir in Worcestershire, syrup, salt, paprika, lemon juice, 1/2 c. water and chili sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, simmer 10 minutes. Add sliced hotdogs and cooked macaroni and simmer until hot (about 6-8 minutes). Blend cornstarch with 2 Tb water; stir into sauce, stirring and boiling 1 minute.

Yield: 6 servings
