1 level tsp. soda (baking, I presume)
1 tsp. of baking powder
2 cups flour
1 tsp. of vanilla

This recipe was brought to the U.S. by a 19 year old girl from England in 1847 via a small sailing vessel. The voyage took 3 months. I assume this recipe is for a drop cookie. Guessing oven at about 350º for 10 to 12 minutes, but I'd start checking through the oven door in about 8 minutes. Not responsible for misdirections.
