    1/2 c butter, softened
    1/2 c brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c flaked coconut
    1 (l lb) can apple pie filling
    1 T lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. mace

    Recipe



    Cream first 3 ingredients

    Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Add coconut. Pat half in greased 8x8x2" baking pan

    Mix remaining ingredients and spoon over first layer; pat remaining coconut mixture on top. Bake 375° 20-25 minutes

    Serve warm with ice cream
