2 sticks of butter, softened
1/2 cup of confectioners sugar
1 tsp. of vanilla
2 1/4 cups of flour
1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. of salt
More confectioners sugar for rolling warm cookies in.



Recipe



Cream together butter and sugar, add vanilla
Add flour, and salt, when blended, add nuts. Mix well.
Take a small amount of cookie dough and roll into a ball, about an inch wide. Flatten the top slightly with fingertips.
Bake at 350, on an ungreased cookie sheet, for about ten minutes or until the bottoms looks slightly browned.

Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar, cool before eating.
