List of Ingredients




1-1/2 cups of flour
2/3 cup of soft shortening
1 Tsp baking powder
1 egg (unbeaten)
1/2 Tsp salt
1 Tsp vanilla
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1-12 ounce package of Chocolate Chips (melted)
A large bowl
A beater or mixer
A greased cookie sheet
A glass


Recipe



In a in large bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, salt, and granulated sugar.
Add brown sugar, shortening, egg, and vanilla.
Beat until smooth (about 2 minutes).
Blend in rolled oats. (Dough will be quite stiff).
Form dough into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
Flatten with bottom of a glass.
Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes.
Spread melted chocolate chips on baked cookie.
