    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 cup sugar (I use superfine)
    3/4 cup chopped dates
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Beat egg whites & salt until they hold a peak. Very gradually, add sugar while beating continues. Carefully fold in chopped dates, nuts & vanilla.

    Drop 1 inch apart on well greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 250 F for 45 minutes.
