    Double Dip Chocolate Chip Cookies

    1 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 C. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup margarine
    3 cup flour
    5-6 oz. pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 C. pecans chopped.

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375°. Reserve 12 ounces chocolate chips for dipping.

    Cream sugars, margarine, eggs and vanilla until light. Add baking soda, salt and flour gradually; mix until smooth. Add remaining 18 ounces chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by rounded spoonsful about 3 inches apart on a foil covered baking sheet, flattening each mound slightly with back of spoon. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until done. Remove from baking sheet and cool on rack.

    Melt reserved chocolate chips. Dip half of each cooled cookie in chocolate. Spread chocolate evenly over cookie half. If chocolate is too thick, remove excess with knife. Place on waxed paper and cool in refrigerator untilchocolate hardens.

    Yield: 4 dozen.
