    Easy Grasshopper Sandwich Cookies

    1/4 C. Butter
    2 TBS. shortening
    1 1/4 C. powdered sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 TBS. creme de menthe
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate wafer cookies

    Recipe



    In small bowl, beat butter and shortening until combined. Add powdered sugar, salt and creme de menthe; beat until light and fluffy.

    Spread scant teaspoonful of powdered sugar mixture on one wafer cookie; top with another cookie; press lightly. Repeat until you use all the cookies.

    Refrigerate until set


    Make 20 sandwich cookies
