1 (18.25 oz) box of devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
14 ounces can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease 13 x 9 inch pan.
2. In large bowl combine cake mix, butter and egg. Mix on low speed until combined. Mixture will be crumbly.
3. In another bowl combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and egg. Beat until smooth. Stir in 1 cup coconut and pecans. Pour over crust and sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup coconut over top.
4. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 3 dozen
