    1 cup butter
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup crushed potato chips
    2 cups flour
    extra sugar for dipping

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer until light and fluffy
    Add crushed potato chips, pecans and flour; mix well
    May refrigerate at this point and bake later
    Drop by scant teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet
    Flatten by pressing with the bottom of a drinking glass that has been greased and dipped in sugar
    Re-grease and sugar the glass as needed
    Bake 10 to 11 minutes
    Makes 5 dozen
