    1/2 cup sugar
    3/4 cup butter
    1 3 ounce package red Jello
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    2 1/2 cups flour

    Preheat oven to 350F. Cream together sugar, butter, Jello, eggs and vanilla. Add salt, flour and baking powder; mix till well combined. Form into small balls and flatten on cookie sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
