    Raspberry Filled White Chocolate Bars

    1 cup butter
    4 cups white chocolate chips divided
    4 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    2 cups flour
    1/4 tsp salt
    2 tsp almond extract
    1 cup seedless raspberry preserves
    1/2 cup almonds, sliced
    Melt butter in small pot

    Recipe



    Add 2 c. chocolate chips-- Do not stir.
    Beat eggs in another bowl until foamy.
    Gradually add sugar, beating on high speed until lemon in color
    Stir in butter mixture
    Stir in flour, salt and extract until blended
    Spread half of mixture into greased,and floured 13 x 9 pan
    Bake at 325° 18 minutes
    Stir in remaining chips to remaining batter
    Spread preserves over baked batter
    Gently spoon reserved batter over preserves
    Sprinkle with almonds
    Bake 30 minutes
