    2-1/2 c flour
    1-1/2 c sugar
    1 Cup butter
    2 egg yolks
    4 egg whites
    1-1/2c blanched almonds
    3/4 Cup raspberry jam
    1/2 Cup sugar

    Recipe



    In large bowl combine flour, sugar, butter, and yolks.
    Press dough into a well buttered 15x10" jelly roll pan. Prick with fork and bake 350° 15-20 minutes, or until it is golden.
    Spread raspberry jam over the baked layer. In a bowl, beat egg whites with 1/2 c sugar, adding 2 T at a time, until meringue is stiff.
    Fold in almonds. Spread meringue over the jam.
    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
