    2 c all-purpose flour 1/2 c butter or margarine
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 c packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp baking soda 1 egg
    1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 tsp salt 1/2 c sour cream
    1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 c chopped cashews or pecans

    Recipe



    Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
    Beat butter or margarine for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar and beat
    until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beating well. Add dry ingredients
    and sour cream alternately, beating after each addition. Stir in
    nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for
    8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet
    immediately and cool on wire racks. Frost cooled cookies with Browned
    Butter Frosting.

    BROWNED BUTTER FROSTING
    3 Tbsp butter or margarine 2 Tbsp milk
    2 c powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla

    In a small saucepan, heat butter or margarine until browned. Remove from heat. Slowly beat in remaining ingredients.
