1 cp butter
1 cp sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cp sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 cp corn flakes, crushed
1/2 cp sunflower nuts, roasted & salted

Recipe



Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Blend in flour, salt and corn flake crumbs, reserving 1/2 cp crumbs. Stir in nuts.
Chill dough thoroughly.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Roll balls in remaining crumbs to coat evenly.
Place two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet bake at 375º for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 5 dozen
