2 1/2 cups of all- purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup of butter, at room temperature
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 large egg yolks
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Granulated sugar for sprinkling

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. beat in the eggyolks. Beat in the vanilla extract. Gradually blend in the dryingredients. Cover and chill for one hour. Preheat the ovento 375 degrees. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.

On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of1/4 inch. using a 2-inch cookie cutter, cut out cookies andplace 1 inch apart onto the prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly colored. Sprinklegranulated sugar over the hot cookies and transfer to wireracks to cool.
