    1 Cup white sugar
    2 Tblsp flour
    1 Cup evaporated milk
    1/2 Cup water
    2 egg yolks
    2 Tblsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 Cup pecan pieces
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pre-baked pie shell

    Recipe



    Combine sugar and flour. Add evaporated milk. Stir well. Combine egg yolks with water and stir well. Add to flour/milk mixture. Add butter and pecan pieces. Cook in saucepan on medium heat stirring constantly. Cook until thick like a pudding. Stir in vanilla and pour into baked pie shell. Serve with whipped cream.

    This can also be cooked in the microwave. Cook at one-minute intervals, stirring after each minute.
