    3 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup of baking cocoa
    2 tsp baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    4 eggs
    1 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup oil
    1 cup amaretto ( almond liquer ) OR Kahluha ( coffee flavored liquer )
    1 cup chocolate or butterscotch chips
    Glaze:
    2 cups powdered sugar
    enough liquer to make into a glaze




    Sift into a bowl: the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Make a well in the center and break in the eggs, add the oil, sour cream and liquer. Blend with an electric mixer at low speed to combine all and then mix on medium high several minutes until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips. Place mixture into a well greased and floured 9 or 10 inch bundt pan. Bake in the middle rack in a 350F preheated oven. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or tested done. Cool in pan 15 minutes and remove to a rack to cool. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl and add and mix enough liquer to make a glaze consistency. Spoon glaze over the cake. Let cake cool completely.Chill covered overnight to blend in flavors. Serve chilled or at room temperature.Remember a good dollop of amaretto flavored whipped cream atop each piece!!!
