    1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
    5 tbspns. butter, melted
    3 pkgs. (8 oz) each cream cheese, softened
    3/4 cup sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    5 ozs. semi sweet chocolate chips, or chunk chocolate, divided
    3 ounces of white chocolate chips, divided
    1/3 cup mashed sweetened strawberries
    2 tsp. shortening, divided

    Combine crumbs and 3 tbspns. of the butter. Press onto the bottom of an ungreased 9 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla, divide into three portions. Melt 2 ozs of the semi sweet chocolate; stir into one portion of batter. Melt 2 ozs of the white chocolate, and add to second portion. Stir strawberries into third portion. Spread semisweet mixture evenly over crust. Carefully, spread white chocolate mixture over semisweet layer, the carefully spread strawberry mixture over the other two. Bake at 425 degrees 10 minutes, then reduce oven temp to 300. Bake 50 to 55 minutes more. Remove from oven, and run knife round edges of pan, to loosen cheesecake. Cool on wire rack. Remove from pan, and place on serving plate. Melt remaining semisweet chocolate, remaining butter and 1 teaspoon of shortening; cool for 2 minutes. Pour over cake. Melt remaining white chocolate. Drizzle over top of cheesecake. Refrigerate cheesecake till serving.
