    3 oz unsweetened chocolate
    1 stick butter
    2 large eggs
    3 tsp vanilla
    1-1/2 tsp salt
    3/4 cup plain flour
    1 pint whipping cream
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
    3 egg yolks
    1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
    1 tbsp + 1 tsp shortening

    Melt chocolate and butter in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and continue heating until melted. Allow to cool slightly. Whisk together eggs and 1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla in bowl Add chocolate mixture from microwave, blending well. Add sugar, salt, and flour, mixing well. Pour into greased 8 inch tart pan with removable bottom or cake pan. Smooth top. Bake at 350 degress for 50 to 55 min or until centers tests done. Allow to cool before slicing. Combine cream, sugar, and peanut butter in heavy pan over medium heat, bringing to a boil and whisking until smooth. Remove about 3/4 c. of the mixture and add to beaten egg yolks, whisking to mix. Return to the pan and rest of mixture, still whisking, until blended. Stir in vanilla and salt, cooking and stirring until mixture coats the back of a spoon. Cool covered and chill until serving. Combine chocolate chips and shortening in small dish and microwave until melted. Cool slightly and transfer to heavy plastic bag and keep warm. To serve, spoon some anglaise (the whipping cream mixture) on a plate. Top with torte. Snip corner of plastic bag and use as icing bag for drizzle.
