    2 cups sugar
    20-oz. can crushed pineapple,with liquid
    1 teaspoon soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Mix ingredients in order by hand
    Pour into ungreased, unfloured 13x9x2 inch pan and bake at 350* for 30 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean

    Cream Cheese Topping

    1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
    1 stick margarine melted
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 to 1 cup nuts, chopped


    Combine cream cheese, melted margarine, pecans, sugar and mix well
    Put icing on hot cake immediately after removing from oven
