Apple Knobby Cake

List of Ingredients




1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. coarsely chopped apples (walnut size)
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped nuts


Recipe



Preheat oven to 350 degree

Cream together in a lg. bowl. Butter & sugar. Add egg & vanilla & mix well.

In a medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients & fold into creamed mixture. Add the apples & nuts.

Bake in a greased & floured 8x8" pan 40 to 50 minutes

HINT: You will think there isn't enough batter, as it will be lumpy with apples. It blends while baking
