    Apple Like a Dump Cake

    FILLING:
    6 apples (cored & peeled)
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1 tbsp cornstarch
    1/4 cup water

    1 yellow cake mix
    2 sticks (1 cup) butter, melted
    1 cup walnuts

    Recipe



    Mix together ingredients for filling. Cook covered over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft. Pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle cake mix over apples. Sprinkle walnuts over cake mix. Drizzle melted butter over cake mix.

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes.
