    3 cups thawed whipped topping
    2 layers (9 inch) devil's food cake (cooled)
    1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

    Recipe



    Spoon 1/2 cup topping in 3 inch circle of one cake layer, and 1 cup topping around edge
    Spoon half of the cherry pie filling between circle and border
    Place second layer on top
    Spoon remaining topping around top edge and fill center with rest of pie filling
