2 cups miniature marshmallows
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1 3-oz. pkg. mixed berry flavored gelatin
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Space marshmallows evenly across the bottom.
Combine blueberries & their juice with the dry gelatin in a separate bowl; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients, beat well.
Pour batter over marshmallows in pan & spoon berry gelatin mixture over top of batter.
Bake in 350º degree oven for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 300º degrees & continue baking 15 minutes.
Marshmallows will rise to the top.
Makes 12-15 servings
